Competing just around the corner from their home base, Team BENIK would make the short trek to the Palm Beach Karting facility for another event weekend in the popular ROK Cup USA program. With a handful of drivers in both the Micro and Mini ROK categories, BENIK drivers would add to the company’s history with several wins and podium results while another BENIK pilot secured a major victory nearly 2000 miles away.

“The BENIK brand was successful on both sides of the country as we continue to gain success and momentum,” explained Team Manager Nick Mitchell. “Congratulations to all of our drivers on a great weekend of competition.”

Diego LaRoque would be one of the BENIK drivers competing at the second round of the Cold Stone US Open program at the Grand Junction Motor Speedway in Grand Junction, Colorado. Progressing through the heat races nicely, LaRoque put it all on the line Sunday during the main event as he stole the show. Driving away from a stout field of Micro Max drivers, LaRoque secured another victory on the season and currently sits second in the overall point standings.

Across the country in Florida, BENIK would control the Micro and Mini ROK ranks in ROK Cup USA competition. In Mini ROK qualifying, Alessandro Famularo would take the pole position just ahead of BENIK teammates Tyler Maxson in second and Lachlan DeFrancesco in fourth. The heat races would give no other chassis brand a chance to run at the front as BENIK secured all three heat race victories and carried that momentum into the prefinal and main event. Claiming the three of the top four positions in the remaining wheel-to-wheel action on the weekend, Famularo would win the prefinal with Maxson coming home second and Reece Gold entering the mix in fourth.

The main event would almost see a BENIK sweep of the podium as Lachlan DeFrancesco brought his name to the forefront. Driving away from the field to claim the checkers, DeFrancesco stood atop the podium with Famularo joining him in second. Maxson was poised to make it an all BENIK podium before contact on the final circuit relegated him back to fourth.

In Vortex Micro ROK, a BENIK kart also went on to take the victory, that at the hands of James Egozi with Lucas Rodriguez putting two BENIKs on the podium with a third place effort. Anderson Leonard would claim the fourth position and will look to move forward in the next ROK Cup USA event.
