  July 22, 2015 -- While NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Ky., is dealing with noise ordinance complaints from local residents, kart racers should continue making plans to attend the inaugural karting event at the new state-of-the-art venue August 14-16, when the AKRA Road Race Series Presented by Vega Tire rolls into town for the third event of their four-race national tour.
   
  NCM is working closely with neighborhood representatives, Planning Commission representatives, local magistrate, and the sound company to resolve these recent noise complaints. The track issued a statement June 30 assuring that officials intend to move forward and fulfill all contracts with series and organizations scheduled to hold events for the remainder of 2015.
   
  It's also worth noting a 90-day deadline has been placed on the track to make necessary adjustments, and the AKRA Road Race Nationals falls within the 90 days.
   
  AKRA officials are looking forward to welcoming road racers, teams and their families this August 14-16 for a fun weekend of road racing at a brand-new venue!
   
  Pit pass sales open at 9:00am Friday, August 14. The track will be open for a walk from 10am till noon and practice will run from 1pm to 5:30pm.
