We're happy to see registrations coming in for this year's race. Please don't hesitate to email if you have any questions about the new Raceday registration system.

We have made 2 changes to the initially announced race lineup. With regards to the Vintage A Class, we have dropped the requirement that drivers be age 60 and over. It is also worth noting that these Vintage classes are for karts from 1985 or older. Modern twin engines, etc. are not eligible.

We have also reinstated the 80cc shifter class, provided that it generates enough entries to compete.

Again this year, Briggs & Stratton is generously discounting the second Briggs class entered by LO206 competitors by $100. That means you will enter the first class at $125 and the second class at $25. Subsequent classes require the $125 entry fee. When you fill out your entry on Raceday, please be sure that you are checking the correct classes -- there are entry options, for example, for LO 206 Heavy at $125 and at $25. Checking the wrong entry will only create a headache for us and you, as well as an additional service fee as we reconcile the error.

This offer is limited to the first 30 drivers who claim it.

Finally, the 2016 Supplemental Rules have been posted on the Competitors landing page at the website, rockislandgrandprix.com

It is important for all competitors to review both the overall rules and the rules for the class(es) they are entering.

We look forward to seeing you in Rock Island, Sept. 2-3-4
